Accompanying rich men

How can you meet well-off men and accompany them to elegant events or evenings out? A friend recently told me that she isn't actually looking for a steady relationship right now and would rather accompany rich men instead. At first, I couldn't picture what that meant. What do you mean, "accompany men"? She explained that she would look for contact with rich men who want a young, attractive woman to accompany them to social events or on trips.

Accompanying rich men - is it escorting?

I have to admit, my first thought at that statement was an escort service. My friend then explained the difference, from her point of view, between escorting and what she wants. She wants a "relationship" with a wealthy man whom she can accompany and who gives her a little financial boost. She called these gentlemen "sugar daddies". I had heard the term before, but I only knew roughly what it meant. She herself would be a "sugar baby". Supposedly the difference is that she also wants to form a friendly and affectionate bond with the sugar daddy. Seen from this angle, accompanying rich men didn't sound so bizarre anymore.

Accompanying rich men - true love?

In my opinion, this concept is less about finding true love and a partnership. If it happens, none of those involved will probably run away, but the focus is more on prestige and simply money and sex. The concept probably doesn't work for me. I want big feelings and love in my life. But of course I tolerate and accept the wishes and needs of other people :-)
